British Championships
2025 UK ATHLETICS FELL AND HILL RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Organised on behalf of UK Athletics (UKA) by the UKA Sub-Committee for Domestic Fell & Hill Running under UKA rules
and sponsored by Pete Bland Sports.
Eligibility qualifications for the UKA Fell and Hill Running Championships are as follows:

Individual runners must be registered with their Home Country Athletics Federation (HCAF) or be members of the FRA.

Clubs must be affiliated to UKA through their Home Country Athletics Federation (HCAF) and only first claim members can count for the team. For the purposes of calculating race positions in the team competition, only first claim members of clubs affiliated to their HCAF will be included.

Runners must be at least 18 on 1 January in the year of competition.
The two races in 2025 are as follows:

These races will be pre-entry (i.e. no entries will be accepted on the day).

Entries will only be accepted from runners who are eligible for the Championship.
The use of GPS for navigation purposes and the use of running poles are not allowed in the 2025 UKA Championship races.
Individual Championships
- Male and Female
- Male and Female under 23s
- Male and Female vet categories – v40-44, v45-49, v50-54, v55-59, v60-64, v65-69, over 70.
- All ages are on day of race except for under 23s who must be under 23 on 31 December in the year of competition.
- Vets will only be included in the ranking for one vet category.
- Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the first three in every category in both the short and long races.
- Cash prizes will be paid to the first three Male and Female runners in both the short and long races.
Team Championships
- Male 5 to count
- Male Over 40s 4 to count
- Male Over 50s 3 to count
- Female 3 to count
- Female Over 40s 3 to count
- Female Over 50s 3 to count
- The Team championships will be decided over both the short and the long race.
- Clubs must field a complete team in both Championship races to be ranked in the championship.
- The final Team rankings will be decided by reference to the total of the Team aggregate scores (total of race positions of the team counters) over the two races.
- Team counters must wear club vests as per UKA rules.
- Different runners may form a team at each race.
- Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to counting members of the first three teams in each. In the case of a tie, both teams will receive the same medals. No other medals may be purchased

2025 UK ATHLETICS FELL AND HILL RELAYS
Organised on behalf of UK Athletics (UKA) by the UKA Sub-Committee for Domestic Fell & Hill Running and sponsored by Pete Bland Sports.
The 2025 UK Athletics Fell & Hill Relays will be organised by Meirionnydd Running Club on Saturday 18th October 2025 at Dinas Mawddwy, Powys. Entries will open on 1st July 2025.
The relays are held under UK Athletic (UKA) rules. Entries in the Championship categories will only be accepted from clubs that are affiliated to UKA for fell running through their Home Country Athletics Federation (HCAF). If the entry limit is not reached, the organising club may accept entries for the non-championship categories from clubs that are affiliated to HCAF, but not for fell running.
All runners must be registered with their Home Country Athletics Federation or be members of the FRA, be first claim members of the club they represent and must wear a club vest. A registration number or FRA membership number for all team members will be required on the team declaration form.
The use of GPS for navigation purposes, the use of running poles and the linking of runners by bungee are not allowed.
UK Athletics medals will be awarded to members of the first three teams in the following categories:

The organising club may decide to include additional categories for which they will award prizes.

British INTercounties championshipS
2025 SENIOR UK INTER-COUNTIES MOUNTAIN RACE
Organised on behalf of the UK Counties Athletics Union by the UK Athletics (UKA) Sub-Committee for International and Domestic Mountain Running under UKA rules.
The 2025 Senior Inter-Counties Mountain Race will be held in conjunction with the Pen-Y-Ghent race on 14th June 2025 at Horton in Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire BD24 0HH.
The race will also incorporate the 2025 British Mountain Running Championships.

2025 BRITISH JUNIOR INTER-COUNTIES FELL RACE
The Junior British Inter-Counties Hill and Fell Championships are organised by the Fell Runners Association (FRA) on behalf of the UK Counties Athletics Union. For details, contact the FRA Junior Co-ordinator.
The 2025 Junior British Inter-Counties Hill & Fell Championships will be held on Saturday 21st June 2025 in conjunction with the Clougha Pike fell race.
