It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joss Naylor MBE on Friday evening, 28th June, in the company of family and friends.  Funeral details to follow.

Unfortunately, the unforeseeable circumstances have led the race organisers of Bradwell fell race (scheduled for Tue 25 June 2024) to a decision to cancel the race. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Entries for the 2024 UKA British Fell and Hill relays, hosted by Wharfedale Harriers on the 19th October, will open from 1st July on SiEntries. Details on the entry process will be available from the SI entries event page in due course (if not already): link

The county of Cumbria is going all out, for the second year running, to help shape a young cross country or track runner of the future, through the award of a running bursary established in the name of the late great, Pete Bland.

Unfortunately, the organisers of this year's Harden Moss Sheepdog Trails have taken the decision that the event will have to be cancelled. (The race was supposed to take place on Saturday 22 June 2024.) The show field and the surrounding area is waterlogged and as the forecast is for the continued rain all week, conditions are unlikely to improve before next weekend.
