This is an apeal for a substitue or deputy RO for 2026 Scafell Pike fell race, which should be held on Saturday 12th September.

We would appeciate for anyone to step forward to take on a role of the race organiser for this classic race. Please share with anyone who you think could do this job and continue the joy of Scafell fell race being the part of our fell events.

Sarah Rowell, British fell legend and former Olympian, has been elected President of the World Mountain Running Association.  Her long-standing commitment to the sport and deep roots in the fells make her a respected choice for the role.

Charlie Day, a Keswick fell runner and a priest organises Running and Remembering event of Sunday the 2nd of November 2025.  It's a chance for us as a fell running community to remember friends, family and fell running companions that we've lost.
