On behalf of Lostock AC I would like to thank all who took part in this years race, and to apologise to all who followed the race leader and went off course on Winter Hill. It just goes to prove that even with 26 plus marshals around the route things can go wrong, but this is a fell race and the Course Map was on display at the start, I think the onus is on the runners to run the correct route.

On a lighter note it was very encouraging for our club to see that the entry for the race was up in numbers again this the 3^rd running of the event by about 30%.

We hope to see you all again next year.
