Lakeland Classics Trophy – Borrowdale

Congratulations to Simon Booth on setting a new record of wins at Borrowdale - his 11th in total and 10 consecutive wins if you ignore last year’s short course. Simon also won Duddon this year but did not run at either Ennerdale or Wasdale.

Several top runners went off course in the misty conditions, notably Rob Jebb after leading the race at Scafell Pike and Ladies winner Janet McIver following club colleagues off Green Gable. Despite that Janet set the 7th best ever time at Borrowdale with 3.25.34 and has won all 4 races to-date in the LCT series.

Entry free. Best three performances count and runners must complete a minimum of three superlong or two Superlong and one Long race.
